Lance Armstrong's First House
Ever wonder how Lance Armstrong used to live before he became super-famous? Well you can see for yourself by clicking here and checking out the current listing (by Cord Shiflet) for his very first home. The listing page has multiple pictures of the inside and outside of the house, as well as virtual tours of various parts of the house and property. The page and its links are super, super slick. Here are some of the house's stats and features:
* 4940 square feet
* two stories
* three bedrooms and four living rooms
* three full baths and two half-baths
* pool
* hot tub
* boat slip and jet ski launch
* sits on 0.59+/- acre
If you don't have time to check out the listing page, at least check out this pitch:
Lance Armstrong's original house! David Shiflet, Architect and Don Reynolds Builders worked together with cyclist Lance Armstrong to create his first ever custom home. This is the house Lance lived in from 1995 - 2000. Here he was diagnosed and treated for cancer, met his wife and celebrated winning his first 2 Tour de France races. Exceptional quality with a real "wow" factor when you walk in. Mediteranean slight contemporary with gorgeous rooms, views, and outside areas. There is also a media room, office, and a huge 2 stall boat dock. The 2 car garage is carpeted because Lance needed it while he worked on his bikes. The estate is lined with 26 Palm Trees that Lance had planted to encompass his estate. This is a chance to own a piece of history!
I'll say there's a "wow" factor to this house. And so how much is the house listed for? A cool $3.5 million. Nice. If you're interested, though, you may be too late since the listing page indicates there's a contract pending.
(I suspect the link to Armstrong's old house will be dead or replaced by another listing in the near future. When the link goes bad, let me know.)
